A sandwich question

So today when Petey and I were fixing our lunch sammies he said something that made me think.  Not an easy thing to do.
He referred to cutting the sandwich in half or from corner to corner.
I have always cut them right down the middle but I felt reckless and rebellious today so I sliced from corner to corner.
What a huuuuuge difference!
I think it even tasted different or is it differently?
So then I had to decide if I should bite off the corners first or plunge right into the middle.
I'm not that crazy, silly, I took off the corners first.
Just a new experience I wanted to share with y'all.

  1. On the diagonal, corners first, save the best (the middle) for last :)

    1. I'm going to keep at it for a while, Harriet, and see if it takes.

  2. These momentous moments are the real stuff of life! Definitely cut on the diagonal tastes better.

  3. Never too late to learn something new. What I like about you-that adventurous nature! Mine are always down the middle, but for me, when I have that stray diagonal sandwich it somehow makes the center bite seem more full and satisfying.

    1. And what I like about you, Phil, is that you find your satisfaction in the little things.
