I had a favorite mug for a long, long time. It broke. I can't remember what happened but I had to select another and one of Petey's lighthouse mugs looked perfect.
I was correct! It holds the right amount of java for my morning blast of caffeine and the handle fits my mitt like a glove. It's all about the handle for me. I need all four fingers to settle in; no squeezing.
Here's my personal question: does the inside of your mug look like this?
It does? Whew! I know it's possible to scrub that stain out of there with some elbow grease and chemicals but I simply don't see the point.
I love this mug so much that the chip on the opposite rim doesn't bother me - unless I switch hands.
I have 2 favorites with stains!

ReplyDeleteYou can use the Mr. Clean white pads to get the stain out without scrubbing.
ReplyDeleteI use James Brandish's (I know that's not how you spell it) mugs. I have all 4 in his flower series and yes, all 4 fingers fit! You drank out of one yesterday!
I knew that mug felt comfy. Brandess - but close enough.
DeleteI do clean my 2 fav mugs out with a lite Clorox bleach spritz weekly. Tea stains aren't becoming ! lol

My FAVORITE mug broke last week. :( I believe that the stains are like a seasoned cast iron pan, don't mess with it!

Every Christmas we get new favorite mugs. For 5 years our grandkids and grand-puppies have been putting their faces on my morning cup of coffee. We have quite a collection and Yes I still have them in the 5th wheel and they will be making to move into the motorhome. You can't start your day without a grandchild on your cup!! I use baking soda and that cleans tea and coffee stains out easily without all the ugly stuff in my cup!
