As you know (if you've been following along), I've been making paper beads for almost 5 years now. I use all kinds of paper - sheet music included.
My friend, Cathy Eichelberger, put that little bug in my ear a few years ago and I am forever grateful.
I put out a Facebook call for old sheet music and people brought boxes full to my home. THANK YOU!!!
I absolutely love the face sheets. They are soooo deco. I wanted to share some of them with you.
Please excuse the "thumb photo bombs" and the missed rotation. I went through the whole cropping procedure but apparently I missed a few "saves."
So if you have some old music collecting dust somewhere in your basement or attic and feel like dropping it off, let me know.
A blog about a woman living in a medium sized city in Michigan who has a lot to say about a lot of things.

Interesting? Sad? Predictable
Two interesting things happened recently that were similar but very different.
Petey and I were in one of our favorite restaurants waiting for a table and in walked a young woman and man. The fellow had on shorts and a casual T-shirt. The young lady had on an eye-popping ensemble. She was also sporting an eye-popping body.
The outfit: very, very, very short shorts. A bare midriff and barely-there top. She was also extremely endowed. Her high heeled strappy sandals finished things off.
She was also cute as a button.
I'm sure everyone there noticed her. I think a few men might have experienced atrial fib.
Second interesting thing: I didn't see this happen in person but I read the story on the internet so I know it's true. Even if it's not, the comparison is what I'm going for here.
This woman had a similar outfit on and was asked to either cover up or leave the restaurant.
Oh, did I mention that the second woman was over weight? Or that she wasn't cute as a button with beautiful blonde hair?
I don't know the back story on either women. Maybe they both had recently lost a lot of weight and felt great about how they looked.
Maybe they were both dealing with traumatic life experiences and somehow going out in public in these outfits were cries for some kind of attention - good or bad.
Or maybe it's a perfect example of how overweight people are judged and treated.
I learned from both of those stories. I'll admit I was a bit judgey on both accounts.
You just never know what has gone on or what is going on in someone's life.
