Last year I believe I wrote, obnoxiously, about shopping at Fresh Market in Destin. It's still my #1 (went there last night) but it's a bit pricey (great quality, tho') so the everyday gig is done at Publix.
We don't have this particular chain up north. SO, SO SAD.
There are 3 Publix here in St.Pete and I normally go to the one closest to my Jazzericse building but the other day Petey and I went to another.
You park below the building (if it's really, really hot out your car stays cool) and shop on the second level.
This was our first time and Petey and I couldn't figure out how the whole operation went so we asked a fellow in the parking lot what you do with the full cart - how do you get it down to your car?
Thankfully he didn't roll his eyes when he explained slowly "there's a cart escalator." WHAAAAAAAAT?????
We only needed a few things so we didn't actually have a cart but grabbed one anyway - otherwise the photo would have looked pretty stupid.
How freakin' cool is this!?!?!?!?
They are super nice, aren't they? When I cam back from Florida I told Brett that we are seriously missing go out around here. Seriously.
