Still tucking in?

Are you still tucking your shirt in?  I was thinking of this the other day and I'm not really sure when I stopped.  Actually, I can't remember the last time I did tuck in.

Tucking in requires sucking in and that's not high on my list of things I enjoy doing.  Often times it requires a belt and that just slows down the whole trip-to-the-bathroom thing.

Do you think that "to tuck or not to tuck" is directly related to a person's waist size? Are thin people are more apt to tuck?

If you're carrying a few extra lbs, sometimes not tucking isn't very flattering.  I think it depends on what you are tucking in and what you are tucking in to.

If you're wearing a pair of "roomy" crop pants with an elastic waist and you grab a "boxy" T, tucking in might not be your best choice.  Ask me how I know.

Working men are really screwed.  They have to belt and tuck.  It must drive them crazy because the moment they retire, all tucking stops.

Let's face it - foregoing "the tuck" is just more comfortable and we like being comfy, don't we?

  1. Ellen.....I was a tucker for many years! But now I am all for comfort. I am not a fashion diva and never have been one!!! Bring on the elastic waste band, even better long loose dresses!!! I am all for the enjoying every moment, not worrying about what is riding up, stuck in the wrong place, or having muffin tops!! I'll be the happy slob with a big smile on my face!!!
